Distilled at the Ardbeg distillery on Islay, this release was bottled and released at the distillery for the Feis Ile 2021 festival which once again was cancelled. This whisky was originally earmarked for the Ardbeg Supernova release and is the first single cask release under new distillery manager, Colin Gordon. This expression was distilled in late 2005 and has spent 15 years in a second fill ex-sherry butt. Just 595 individually numbered bottles produced at a cask strength of 56.8% abv.
