A Unique Maturation Odyssey

This extraordinary journey began in the spring and autumn of 2017, with the careful selection of ex-PX and ex-Bourbon casks. After contributing to our revered Sherry Cask Reserve #2 and Flagship System, these casks embarked on a new adventure, filled with Wold Top Brewery’s ‘Marmalade Porter’. Nestled on our farm, the casks matured the porter for 14 months, infusing it with depth and character, before being bottled as the exquisite ‘Rip Curl’.

The odyssey continued as these very casks were refilled with select ex-Bourbon matured whisky from 2018, further enriching the spirit with unparalleled complexity. After another period of careful maturation, Whisky Director Joe Clark masterfully blended these elements, creating a whisky that is both innovative and deeply rooted in tradition.
